I've had to go for Jack Black. While it's obvious he can deliver lines, I've seen some of his "serious" stuff, and I'm always waiting for a shirt-ripping and a "YEEEEEEEE-YAAAAAAAAA motherfuckin rigga-goo-goo" kinda moment.
Then there's the immortal line form King Kong. How he kept a straight face when he concluded that Beauty killed the Beast is beyond me

I can't believe you've got William Shatner, Hayden Panettiere, Jennifer Lopez, Sharon Stone, John Wayne, Ben Stiller, Katee Sackhoff, Jack Black, Milo Ventimiglia, Lisa Kudrow, Diana Muldaur, and Matthew Fox on a 'worst performance' list. They've all done some very nice work, IMHO. Granted, some people may not like that work...
For me, I'm torn between Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, and Steven Segal. I think it will have to be Schneider - if he wasn't Adam Sandler's friend, his career would have probably ended by now.

Have you been watching the same Heroes that I have? Both of them can be just AWFUL. Especially Hayden when she's trying to be all "bad ass."
Both of them have limited skills.
Firstly, some of these actors do not belong on this list. Additionally, I can name dozens of worse actors than any on this list -- even the horrid ones here. Also, you did not list the performances that were the "worst" for every actor; oftentimes, you just listed the actor and in at two instances didn't even both to look up their names! CGI characters, also, are not actors -- even, like Jar Jar, if they are based on an actor's physical movements -- and therefore shouldn't even be mentioned in this poll (But if they have to be, I didn't find the Balrog's performance in LOTR to be convincing at all!) And finally, Diana Muldaur is a woman, not a "girl".
Jamie Bamber in no way, shape, or form belongs on a bad acting in sci-fi (or anything else) list. I haven't always been pleased with the direction of his character on BSG, but the man can act and then some.My choice? Milo Ventimiglia. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but he's so wooden on screen if he goes outside a very narrow range of character. Peter can't emote realistically on Heroes to save his life.
What? No Patrick Stewart?
