The Radio chatter was part of the hallucination, it described the journey of our group.
But the radio chatter is describing the ZA during the initial outbreak which is not part of the experiences we've seen onscreen.
No, it's not. It's all allegory for the experiences of Tyreese.
No, it's not. It's all allegory for the experiences of Tyreese.
Correct so:
A. It's not the groups experiences but rather his
B. We haven't seen what happened to him during the initial outbreak.
Therefore, it's safe to assume that he's remembering listening to news broadcasts when the ZA first happened.

I'm pretty sure we all knew it was part of the hallucination and not "really happening." Though, I took it as more of Tyreese's flashbacks of things he heard on the radio during the initial outbreak, since as he described to Noah his father often compelled him to listen to the news.
On NPR or some BBC-America news station or something.
It's caste in the style of reporting on a genocidal war like Rwanda, but not the ZA, and has clear parallels to the events the group and Tyreese have gone through. It's an allegory for their journey. Cannibals along the transportation corridor is Terminus along the railway. Hacking with machetes. Burning down local prisons. Mutilation of children and young mothers. Moving across the countryside. Random violence. Tyreese's and Rick's concern with their growing brutality.“At least 68 citizens of the republic have been killed in four deadly attacks along the main coastal district. The group has continued their campaign of random violence, moving across the countryside unfettered with the republic’s military forces in disarray.

It seems they haven't abandoned the notion of another guarded community, but they haven't found it yet, & it takes healthy, strong, & determined people to find it & make it a safe zone. From the look of everyone in next week's episode, they aren't up to the challenge of founding such a place anymoreThe prison concept worked for awhile, why not try another? In short time, they would see if it was abandoned or occupied by both walkers & the living? No one should expect potential antagonists to have access to shelter-threatening tanks every week, so it is possible to create prison 2.0, with lessons learned from the first.
Apparently that was Andrew Lincoln's voice on the radio
Yeah, they mentioned that on Talking Dead. They also showed BTS photos of The Governor filming his scenes with the rest of the cast.
I'm hoping like hell Morgan finds them soon, for good or ill.
They are now 500 miles away from where they used to be. How in the world will they ever meet up with Morgan?
