When I first discovered this place, before I became a member, I saw that there were topics about Star Trek for a week and after I became a member, I learned about the other topics in the forum. Also, there are not many people in Türkiye who are 50-60 years old and nerds. I don't know how to act in a forum where there are so many old American nerds.

I’m hoping that it’s just how your translator has worded it but talking about “old nerds” could mean offend people. “Fans”, even “geeks” would be less contentious. It might be that the words look fine to someone whose first language isn’t English, but down there in black and white, it looks a bit insulting.
