League of Extraordinary Gentlemen has a lot of untapped potential if wielded well. Since I knew nothing of the comic book I found the film serviceable enough, aside from the Quartermain, whom I didn't know, and invisible man stuff. Nemo was probably the most interesting yet really oddly redone, especially with the Nautilus.

I actually think it could possibly be done as a series. Sometimes you need a series to flesh things out properly, where a movie will barely scratch the surface. The snowpiercer movie and series comes to mind.

I'll admit, the trailer for True Lies looks like it could be kind of fun, but I'm still going to be surprised if it makes it past the first season.

A team of volcanologists travel to a different US city each week in time for the eruption of a brand new volcano. And then in the spinoff Volcano International, another team travels to major cities around the world when they get new volcanoes erupting.
The Volcano is actually just part of the mystery. Why does the blind teenage daughter for the series lead, who is a LA police detective, keep having dreams of mysterious creatures living inside the Volcano. Why is the government running a secret lab out of UCLA and has military style commando units providing security. Why is the series leads ex-husband acting out of character and mean all of sudden after leading a team inside the Volcano to study it and now the rest of the team which used to be nice friendly people are also acting mean for some reason.
I'm starting to want to watch this series...
If they don't get Angela Bower back they can call it "Where's the Boss?"...
I would normally instantly dismiss this as a bad idea but Cobra Kai exists so it could work.

Found this wonderful clip on ScreenRant. It's a (tongue-in-cheek) look at what they think the studios would do for a remake of "Frasier."
Yeah, it's interesting, but don't know if I'd watch it, if done that way. I loved Frasier for its comedy and delivery.
I'm actually starting to think the actual Frasier reboot is not going to happen, seems to be taking an age.
Kelsey Grammer was on The Talk and discussed the revival/reboot. The script for the pilot is still being written and it is tentatively planned to film starting in October.
