That sounds like a placeholder name if ever there was one. Bet it ends up being Rise of the Dragon or some such like.

They already tried to do a Oceans Eleven movie without Clooney,Pitt, etc and it didn't work. Time to give up or at least try something new. Maybe return the 60's setting of the very first one with Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.

It didn't? Ocean's Thirteen, with Clooney and Pitt, made $ 311 million against a budget of $ 85 million, Ocean's 8 made $ 297 million against a budget of $ 70 million. So, at least financially, it wasn't any less successful.

That's cool. I tend to avoid lots of reboots these days but I think I will check this one out unless I guess the trailers look like pure crap.

One thing it won't be is a version of the Great Glass Elevator since Dahl had in his will that it never be adapted.

Roald was kind of particular about adaptations of his work. But GGA would be Ok with modern CGI, long as they just adapted the first part (with the Vermicious Knids). Second part's been done better in other stories. Yes, we get it, getting old and dying is good, whatever.

The next live-action adaptation of an animated movie will be Ferngully. Which I think we probably already sort of got with Avatar…
