The unnecessary reboot/remake of the week thread

Rumor of the day, Air Force One 2, possibly with Harrison Ford returning.
So, did he just serve one term as President in the 1990s and get reelected in the 2020s or is someone else the President and Harrison Ford is tagging along on AF1 for a ride when it gets attacked by terrorists this time?

It will probably he the tired old son or daughter trope. The Ex Pres is on board because his kid was elected President.

I hear Shia LeBeouf is available. ;)
Two sons - one, played by Adam Driver, is the hijacker, and the other, played by Shia, is the rescuer. Naturally, the audience ends up rooting for the hijacker.

What if terrorists take over Air Force One but terrorists who hate those terrorists take over Air Force Two?

Air Force One vs. Air Force Two

Isn't that basically every Harrison Ford movie these days?

Going to combine it with another movie. What happens when Air Force one has lots of snakes on board that get out.
With Samuel L Jackson as Secretary of Defense, who for some reason takes point to deal with those motherfucking snakes on that motherfucking plane.

Plane full of Ex-Presidents: Ford, Morgan Freeman, Bill Pullman, Martin Sheen, Michael Douglas, Geena Davis and Kevin Kline. They must put aside their political and personal differences to save the country and themselves.

This is not a completely crazy idea. The current President and several of his predecessors are sharing an overseas flight on Air Force One to attend a state funeral in, say, Germany. But East German neo-Nazi separatists terrorists have somehow infiltrated the plane, and now current and retired presidents have to kick some neo-Nazi butt on Air Force One.

At least one has to die a heroic death, galvanizing the rest into action.

Throw in Anthony Hopkins, James Cromwell, Dennis Haysbert, Kiefer Sutherland and William Devane (the latter of whom has probably played more US presidents than anyone).

If it's Airforce Two, the plot would technically have to involve the Vice-President somehow, since that's the designation for the plane carrying the Vice-President.

No. The terrorist are also former American Presidents that were not invited to the state funeral such as Selina Meyer, Nick Offerman from "Civil War" and Francis Underwood.

Robert Smigel and the SNL TV funhouse staff are huddling with their lawyers and they don't even know why.

Rumor of the day, Warner is eying making Children of Dune, which apparently annoys Denis Villeneuve because he thinks the later novels are all to esoteric to adapt.
