Alien is more horror than sci-fi, which doesn't make it any less sci-fi.

I don't think of it as sci-fi because its just too silly. Its humor w a little sci-fi for flavor.
A little sci-fi flavor? Yeah, now you've lost me. The aliens, the spaceships, the robots, the time travel... those aren't science fiction?

Ever read "Good Omens" by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett? It's the most Douglas Adams-y book I've ever read that wasn't actually by him. Good stuff.

Nope, the internet killed them and I had to move on to other lines of work.

Ironically I think the porn book shops are safer than the vanilla book shops even though the internet is for porn.

Porn is like water: Everyone can get it for (nearly) free at home but many people would PREFER to leave the house, drive to a business that sells it prepackaged & overpay outrageously for it.
Shame is sexy.
If they were near my house and hiring, I didn't run across them.
