The Ultimate Fantasy... what would you do with 640 million?

Enterprise was just getting really good when they cancelled it.

TATV :scream: Yeah, I would have liked to have seen the birth of the Federation done properly. However, I'd probably want to start from scratch and forget that Ent ever existed.
I keep hearing about this Alternate reality Box Set with an additional Episode called TATV, is the episode any good? Should I seek out this set, or should I just be satisfied with Terra prime being the last episode?

I would turn James Luceno's LABYRINTH OF EVIL into a movie, shoot a movie based on THE DIG (one of my all time favorite games) and probably invest the better part of it to build schools and hospitals in poor Asian or African countries.

Buy the movie and TVrights to the Resident Evil franchise, begin work on a Zombie epic to rival 'The Walking Dead', then hire an "expert" to "deal" with the Paul W.S Anderson "situation".

I don't know about the rest of the book, but there's a certain scene in DARTH PLAGUEIS that, if filmed as part of a movie and done properly, would be potentially so awesome that the mere thought of it almost makes me want to cry. Short fan film, maybe.

Tru Calling, I would've liked to see more, the write up of where it was going sounded awesome.

I was a Tru Calling fan back in the day, but I'm not sure how interested I'd be in bringing it back now. Even back then, I would have been more interested in bringing back Wonderfalls.

Odyssey 5 ended on one hell of a cliffhanger that MUST be resolved. (However, the fact that we got through 2007 without the world being destroyed must mean good job, Commander Taggert!)

Solve MGM's cashflow problem just long enough to get those other Stargate SG-1 & Stargate Atlantis movies made.

The cast & crew of Community wouldn't have to worry about unemployment for a while.

Animated reconstructions of all the missing Doctor Who episodes from the Patrick Troughton years.

Convince Joss Whedon to undertake a new live-action Buffyverse project. (I've had an idea for a while for a spin-off where Gwen Raiden is forced to join the Initiative. It would be kind of like Alias meets Mission Impossible with vampires.)

I'd do everything in my power to keep as many bricks and mortar bookstores and DVD/CD shops going for as long as possible.

Alex

I'd create a five season (made up of 13 episodes per season) space opera tv series. If a network or cable station turned me down I'd still make it for my own viewing pleasure.

Consider yourself blessed.

I find it funny and disgusting that you guys get taxed on your lotteries. We get it tax free. Granted we never go higher than 30 million (otherwise it immediately becomes a 'must win' draw and gets paid out for the lower divisions if not struck).

What would I do?
- Make Candlelight, my own series.
- Get JMS to finish Crusade in a mini series.
- Produce another BSG movie.
- Convert Peter F Hamilton's Commonwealth novels (Pandora's Star, Judas Unchained, The Dreaming Void, The Temporal Void & The Evolutionary Void) into a 5x 13-part series. Misspent Youth could feature as a tv movie, while the events of Manhatten in Reverse could be a small series of mini episodes.
- Remake The Power of the Daleks.
- Build a large mansion, with each room a theme from a particular show (the Tardis console room (don't ask me what era), the Enterprise bridge, CIC from Galactica, C&C from Babylon 5, etc).
- Some other stuff.

Get a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, a top hat, and hire a driver to chauffeur me around New York while I get drunk and laugh maniacally in the back seat.

I would hire a company to build suits for my staging of scenes from Van Helsing, Harry Potter series, Peter Jackson's King Kong.

I would be replacing the cgi puppets with actors in suits, silicone prosthetics and amnitronic muzzles.

Ymm!

  1. Pay off student loans and any other outstanding debt
  2. Buy a new car
  3. Quit my current job
  4. Move to and buy residential property in LA (specifics TBD)
  5. Buy my parents a new house (they currently rent)
  6. Set aside some money for my sister's college education
  7. Invest a large amount of the remaining money
  8. Purchase an art house theater
  9. Start up my own production company (and naturally hire talented people to handle the business and creative stuff - I just want to be able to call it "my" company)
  10. Spread some money around to a few charities / non-profit organizations

First thing, I'd call up HBO and tell them that they don't have to worry about financing anymore for the third thru sixth seasons of Carnivale :D

Then, I'd buy a DeLorean and make my own replica of the time machine, rigging it to where fireworks start shooting out once it hits 88 mph

I would build my own proton pack and turn my house into the Ghostbusters firehouse and go tear assing around my town in the Ecto-1

Oh, and did I mention that Ghostbusters III would happen... WITH Bill Murray? :)
