Anyone else wondering if the "Woden" will be getting much of a makeover for its few seconds on screen?

I'd reuse one of the wire models of the 22nd century J-class freighters from ENTERPRISE. The episode says the Woden is very old and outmoded and is thus on complete automation. This would be a great chance to resurrect a prequel freighter design to help tie the two eras and centuries closer together.

That I would love to see. The people at New Voyages did the same thing in their recent episode.
The stills I've seen from TOS-R recently have generally been good, but damn, that shot of the Enterprise approaching the space station looks fake as hell. The station looks like an 8" plastic toy!
Everything in that image is as smooth and shiny and obviously CG as The Last Starfighter was almost a quarter of a century ago, for chrissakes. I know the ships are meant to be in the vacuum of space and the shots are generated digitally, but seriously: aerial perspective and film grain would make things seem more 'realistic'.

The freighter is available in either automated or crewed designs. The only difference is the forward section which is for the crew's use (i.e. the Antares); the automated variant doesn't have this section.
The automated version, AFAIK, was first seen onscreen in TAS.
So The Antares, in "Sherman" configuration seems likely for the TOS-R Woden? Sounds good, but to tell you the truth, I wouldn't mind a DY-100 refit with little lateral nacelles tucked beside the drive boom (ie. not too visible in the original profile shot) and maybe a deflector dish in a positon similar to the TOS-R Antares (ie. front of the ventral cargo pod). Then we avoid a complete trashing of the original episode with a little fiddle of another, existing mesh/model. An unmanned refit of an old workhorse like the DY-100 still being used in the mid-23rd century wouldn't be too far out of the question, though perhaps less likely than an ENT J or Y class freighter.

Actually, I like this a lot. The Antares/NCC-G1400 model doesn't meet the criteria of "old"...
Although if DY-100 conversions were still in use, Kirk and Spock should have an easier time identifying the Botany Bay, and perhaps ought to extensively discuss whether it is a modern warp-capable conversion or an old sublight original. Especially if the difference isn't visually obvious!
So in that sense, my vote for hoped-for outcome goes for ENT Class J or Y freighter reuse. Perhaps rather Class J, which was explicitly an ore freighter. Alas, my vote for most likely outcome still goes for the TAS cargo drone...

Some open questions remain. Do we get to see the Greg Jein registries on the other two adversary ships up close? Can we pretend the Excalibur doesn't have an out-of-line 1600-range one? I fear not...
