The Trek2 teaser trailer breaks!

Well that answers that.

Edit; apparently it's fake. I'm glad because it looked cheap for a real trailer. But that was a well done fake.

Yeah, definitely not official. The description even says it's fan-made. Still, very good work, regardless.

Ha. I clicked on that expandable "Show more" tab a few minutes ago and nothing happened.

"While fans eagerly await any and every piece of content concerning J.J.'s frontier, we at MOVIECLIPS took it upon ourselves to get our hands dirty with the excitement in this fan-made teaser trailer. We'll be right on deck ready to bring you the official trailer when it debuts, until then, hope you enjoy!"

I knew it was weird that nobody had posted the link before me.

I liked it, it was very well done. It also did fit the mood of the first teaser we saw of the last movie, which was kind of a nice touch.

What gave it away for me was 32 seconds into it, that kind of looks like Brad Dourif's character from Alien Resurrection.

I believe it is him. It puzzled me, as I'd never heard of him being in the movie (I was watching it on my I-phone and didn't see the disclaimer).

Good fake all the same.

So, this means Dwight Eisnhower won't be narrating the movie? :(

Although not entirely in context, damn nice use of Ike's farewell address to portend the dangers of a person like Khan. Top notch fake.

Being a furriner, I didn't recognize the speech at first: was it the one about the dangers of the military-industrial complex?

Yep. That's the one. A great speech, really.

Fooled moi! Definitely felt like a credible sequel to the XI teaser.

I did get pissed at the name "Star Trek 2", though, so here's hoping that part doesn't come true. :p
