That's a pretty boilerplate list, except for "The Void," which seems out of left field. If I wanted to throw Star Trek: Voyager a bone, I'd probably pick a different episode than that.

And even though I loved Balance Of Terror, I'm not sure if it's the best Trek episode ever.

Not sure balance of terror is the best episode, and if you wanted to put a VOY episode, I hear Timeless, Year of Hell, or Equinox as the better episodes (Not seen much voyager, so I cannot say)

I'd pick Balance of Terror for best TOS episode, and I'm glad they put it above The City on the Edge of Forever (which is quite overrated IMO). But I'd probably pick The Best of Both Worlds I or In The Pale Moonlight or Duet (why is it not on the list?) for the best episode. For Voyager, I'd pick Living Witness or Year of Hell or Equinox. And I think they could have picked an Enterprise episode if they really tried. Damage was really good, and In A Mirror, Darkly is not a worse MU episode than Mirror, Mirror (clarification: I think they're both great), but I suppose TOS always has an advantage in these lists because it's TOS.

Anyway, apart from The Void, all these episodes are worthy of top 10 - not that The Void is not a good episode, I'm just not sure if it's top 10 material.

Add Scorpion from Voy and take Void
Add In a Mirror, Darkly from Ent
and take off something else

I'd pick "Living witness" or also a good choice "Author,Author", they are very Star-Trek-like in the classical way.

I personally love Timeless as far as VOY goes but it perhaps isn't as Trek classic as Living Witness.

I'd actually put "Latent Image" up there to represent Voyager. And if Voyager gets an episode, I think Enterprise should, too. Maybe "Observer Effect."

I think you're right about throwing Voyager a bone. How does that list include *ANY* Voyager episode, yet exclude "Yesterday's Enterprise"?
