The "Tell Someone They're Great" thread

I'm telling my Hubby that he's great. He's loved and supported me for over 22 years, even when my problems made things hard.

I'm telling my Mom that she's great--and my beloved late Father. They loved me even when I couldn't understand why they would.

I'm telling you all here that you're great. I've been given such support from so many of you, and I've read so many posts expressing love and support to others, others who are otherwise complete strangers but for this Board.

My dad is great. He raised me pretty much on his own. He is just this side of a living god in my eyes. I owe him everything. I love him and would be totally lost without him.

The Bleacher Creatures are great. I really felt like I belonged, even in my first game with them. That was literally a life changing experience for me. Check THIS out... (I'm there, but I don't think I'm in the shot )

And of course the Yankees are great. 27th world championship! Here's to #28!

Robert Maxwell totally made my day for me, so to him.

Also to my good friend in RL who I'll just call "M". I've known her for more than eight years now and our friendship hasn't always been solid, but I can't imagine how I would have gotten through the past few years without her.

She supports me even if she disagrees with me. We can be serious or silly together. She came to see me off on my first day of class because she knew I was nervous about going back to school, and she had made up a little bag of snacks to eat during break! I'm so lucky to have someone like her around.

My wife is great because her parents raised her that way and because she has a LOT of patience with her husband.

And God is great because He has a plan for the world and yet allows us to make our own choices.

QFT...I think Propita is great for doing this and not getting depressed.

I think my best friend, DJ Mark Bisson, is great because he listens to me and gives me wise advice when I need it.

I think my Grandfather is great because he kept his marriage vows. Til death, did they part.

I think my friend Joe is great, because he speaks to me plainly and truthfully, and yet he listens to me and takes my feelings seriously.
