I'm wondering that too... I'd be surprised if they'd go with "continuing voyages", "lifeFORMS" etc... rather than the slightly better known version... I really hope its real though because of the design of the ship.

^ I'll stick my neck out and say that it's genuine. Feel free to nerve pinch me.

Everything about it looks right. The current Paramount logo, the animated Bad Robot one, the Earth shine looks expensively CGI'ed and the credits at the end seem the right pecking order.

I can see this turning into another stupid "what if" & "I think" type argument...how about we wait untill we see something either on an official website, TV and at the cinema...then we will know whats going on.

To me the planets look a little too basic and the voice over does seem to be from STII, however it does seem to be a very high quality video and the Enterprise (if its real) looks good.

SO lets wait for official confirmation to if its legit or for someone to come out and say they made it themselves.

The sound defiantly lets it down, so I'm leaning towards agreeing that it's a fake.

However, if the claim that it's a leak is true, then it could be an earlier build with a temporary soundtrack, done before Nimoy (or whoever) was able to record the proper one. So I'm not entirely dismissing it.

If the Enterprise looks as good as that in the real one, I'll be very happy!

Sorry- looks like this is a fake, albeit a good one. It doesn't match with Cawleys statements, either.

Not only is it the exact voiceover from the end of TWOK, it's the music from the beginning of GEN when they're christening the Enterprise-B.

Not that I'd put a lot of stock in Cawley's statements either, though. I don't doubt that he's being honest with us (he seems like a genuine enough guy), I just highly doubt that his source was being honest with him.
