That's not what I'm saying.
Actually, as I said, the best outcome for me is if the film is both something I like and something that is financial success. If it's popular, great! I'm not preferring the idea of a failure I like to a success I like, I'm just putting my likes before success or failure.
And I don't mind if there's a major overhaul, or they scrap everything, or whatever. All that matters to me is I like the product for what it is, above and seperate to its relationship to past material. I don't have any checklists. I just want a good movie.
