The Story, A Star Trek Fan Production.

Well, in short what would sell it better would be to faintly reflect some of the ruins in the water, and selectively brighten the water at the base of them to create the sense of foaminess. Interactivity between plate and VFX is a lot of what sells matte shots.

Very happy with the response to this one. We've had over a thousand views on YouTube so far and only one thumbs down. Small potatoes by most peoples' standards but it makes me happy. :)

If you haven't already watched or decided you hate our stuff, we'd be thrilled if you'd go check this one out and leave us a comment. :)

Yeah, sorry about that thumbs down... I kid! It wasn't me!

I used to sometimes change the annotation at the end of TTI to point to other films I thought deserved some love, but YouTube stopped allowing you to add or update annotations and instead now allows you to place a call-to-action button, but to turn that on it ends up deleting your annotations! Arrgh.
