The Star Trek Way

What an intelligent question, however and it is my opinion only, that almost every episode in all the various series and movies represent, in the main, facets of "The Big Bird of the Galaxy" views on the "what could be's" as interpreted through the wonderful writers charged with the awsome responabilty of interpreting Gene's view of the future and the messages he wanted us to, in the very least, think about. I don't believe any singular episode or movie can answer your question, there are pearls of widom in each. I am pleased in the extreme to see so many young people, that is people younger than I (53) be so active in participating in the "what if's" proposed by Gene and the subsequent writers of the most intelligent fiction (or is it fiction? mm) ever concieved.len@brisproperty.com.au

If you were to explain to someone one what you think "star trek" is all about, at its core, what episode would you instruct them to see to bring this point home???

My list

I chose one main and a runner up from each series, which was extremely hard since there are so many good ones.
TOS
Main was "City on the Edge of Forever" Runner-up "Where No Man has Gone Before"

TAS
Main pick "Yesteryear" and the runner-up "More Trouble, More Tribbles"

Movies
Main pick is "The Wraith of Khan" Runner-up "First Contact"

TNG
Main pick "Family" Runner-up "The Drumhead"

DS9
Main pick "Far beyond the Stars" Runner up "The Visitor"

Voy
Main pick "One" runner up "Blink of an Eye"

Ent
Main pick "Demons" and the runner up "Terra Prime"

I like this list...this would make an incredible fan's collection..bravo..well done!
