That was me. When I first heard a movie was coming out, I thought it was 5 to 10 years too late. Was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
Maybe this will be good too.
I wonder if they'll have another contest to find the host city for the premiere. For the first one, they had quite a unique contest, in which the Springfields in different states had to put together videos to showcase why they should become the host city. Springfield, Vermont ended up winning last time, by recreating the Simpsons intro but using their town as a backdrop.
Ending at all would be sooner than I'd think at this point.
I think it would make sense to end the show and continue the franchise with feature films and a spin-off.
If the show ever did end, it would make the most sense to me to just move on.
