The Seven Doctors?

so there will DEFINITELY not be a christmas special this year? i don't understand why this is still not confirmed as it's only a few months to christmas. >_< can anyone shed a light on this? an actual report or such?
 there would be riots in the streets if the Doctor Who Christmas specail was cancelled

He would do it for charity wouldn't he? I remember him doing video diaries from Africa or somewhere for children in need a year or two back....

I was thinking about this, too. It wouldn't surprise me if he would do something for charity when he wouldn't do it for other reasons.

The BBC programme information for Week 46 is out, and the section on Children in Need doesn't have any mention of a Doctor Who item. Doesn't mean there isn't one, but it can't be very big if there is.
John Barrowman'll be appearing though (but then, it is a British TV programme).

I often think it would save time if the people who compile program information just listed the shows that John Barrowman isn't appearing in!

there is a Christmas special. it was trailed at the end of Journey's End.

the question we're discussing is whether there's going to be a charity special like Time Crash.

did you not see this? i answered the question!

oops i didn't see there was a post on the previous page. thought it continued on to this page already. >_<

is there always a christmas special? wamdue seemed to imply so.

^The new show has always done a Christmas special starting with Series 2. I doubt it will change in the future.

but since there won't be a 2009 season, does that mean no special on 2009?

any details on this year's special? plot? new companion?

this year's special features the Cybermen in Victorian London and the companion is an as-yet-unidentified male calling himself the Doctor.

and yes, there will be a 2009 xmas special. at least one of the specials airing next year will be shown at xmas.

The BBC Press Office has announced that the first two minutes of Christmas special "The Next Doctor" will air during Children in Need. Not sure how that qualifies as "CiN-themed"; maybe there'll still be a lame sketch around it. So much for the seven Doctors, anyway.

Actually according Rusty, our Doctor is the companion to this "Other" Doctor.

another time lord? or maybe a previous incarnation of himself? or someone pretending to be a timelord who knows about the doc so he's calling himself the doc? so now the real doc is tagging along to see what this impostor is up to?

that is the logical thing for theDoctor to do, also means he can keep the other guy out of trouble should things get to bad.

Probably just someone who is an actual Doctor who happens to be an adventurer, that's my hunch at least.

It's not Rusty who said that, but one of the alleged spoiler folks on OG.

The black girl, Rosita (played by Velile Tshabalala), is the companion for the "Other" Doctor, then for TenDoc
