Nice to see Pike have a romance with someone other than Vina and Una

 

This really looks like the TV series I wanted to follow up 2009 Star Trek. I even love the Gold Key vibes of the Enterprise flying low over the alien city. Really, really hoping the writing lives up to the visuals.

 

Love it. I’m so excited for this, and I can’t wait for the panel on Saturday with Anson!

Also, there’s a shot of Uhura that shows her as an Ensign, so it would seem we’ll be seeing her graduate from Cadet over the course of the season.

 

There's definitely some considerable length of time that season 1 is covering, judging by the varying hairstyles, ranks, and uniforms the characters have in the various trailers they've released this week. Pike's hair goes from his Disco style, the Conan-esque bouffant, and then the pandemic woodsman. Chapel's hair has a couple of different lengths. Una changes things up a bit as well.

 

Uhura also gets her commission and new wide collar uniform. Her rank stripe also isn't red like all the other red shirts.

That variant uniform looks great!

 

Loved the trailer. Seems about as far from Discovery in tone as you can get which is exactly what I want.

Trailer looks good, series looks fun, I'm interested! I especially like how the fate of all life in the universe apparently isn't at risk.

 

Enterprise does a barrel roll.

 

One of the things I love about Lower Decks.

Seems like a good cast.. Hope they don't nerf it!

 

That looks wonderful, and by that I mean both “great” and “filled with wonders.” Terrific to see the franchise finally taking advantage of today’s visual effects to create truly strange new worlds. If nothing else, we’re in for a visual treat.
