I live in Denver, and all week a local news station has been running a five part series called "The Secrets of Cheyenne Mountain" While it's not quite like the fictionalized version we see on Stargate, there are some similar elements, and of course, the tunnel entrance is authentic. I thought it would be cool if they at least mention Stargate, and they did in part five, with a great quote from the base commander: If you submit a request and get the proper clearances, I can gladly show you where our Stargate is base commander Colonel Turk told me with a somewhat straight face.
