"The Savage Curtain" Remastered comments

And a smooth foreheaded Kahless seen for the first time. Take that B&B forehead revisionististas!!!
What do B&B have to do with Klingon Foreheads?

In an Enterprise episode it was shown that the smooth foreheaded Klingons were a genetic mutation caused by mixing human augment DNA with Klingon DNA to create an anti-viral agent.

Plus - I haven't had a good B&B rant in a few years - I had to dust one off for old times sake.

The Federation runs on starminutes, which are about 110 seconds long.
This is why, whenever something is in a very tense countdown in an episode, it always seems like it takes twice as long to get to zero.
Brilliant! That must be the expanation for the time-dilatation in "Corbomite Maneuver" as well.

A good solution to a problem introduced by Roddenberry and compounded by Ron Moore. And one the was bandied about years before Enterprise.

Somebody needs to tell Okuda that a change over 1000 square miles wouldn't cover 1/8 of the planet!

I noticed that too. Excalbia must be the size of Maryland and no bigger if that's the case. Perspective and proportion can be off by quite a bit even in some spankin' new Remastered effects.
