Okay, I'm about a quarter way through writing a novel length fanfic set on post war Cardassia, it's mostly about the rebuilding of Cardassia and alliances made with other major powers, like the Federation and the Ferengi. That said, it is also a Garashir fic, and although I do not write any explicit sex scenes, it is obvious that something took place and there is a kissing scene... would I be allowed to post it here when it is complete (sometime next year probably). I am not sure how strict the rules are, but I wanted to be sure so I know if I will be allowed or not, I love this place and I don't want to break the rules.

If you can't for whatever reason and aren't aware of it, Archive of Our Own allows that sort of thing and seems to have a somewhat active DS9 community. I'm not going to link any of that here since I'm pretty sure it's against the rules for me to do so. You're welcome to PM me.

Ok thanks, from what I can see of that quote, my fic will most likely be allowed here, as I don't plan on anything more sexual than what's already in it.

Damn thing posted before I was ready to end my message. This computer is old and doing wonky things, I'm replacing it before Xmas. As I was about to say, we can PM each other once I've been a member for 14 days, I'm now on day 5 of my membership.
The board is generally supposed to be PG13. You can use that as a rule of thumb.
There shouldn't be any explicit erotic scenes in the story but kissing, flirting and romance is fine. Scenes that show something has taken place - as you put it - are also okay. I hope that's clearer. If you're unsure about a particular scene you can also DM me in advance of posting.
Also, don't worry. Even if something in your fic is deemed to be against the rules we won't immediately rip off your head or anything like that.
