The Room.

Tommy seems to have a huge but easily burst ego that vastly exceeds his mild talents and if he's delusional enough go through with The Room then it seems in character that he's being delusional about online reviews cutting into his profit margins. And over the site itself there's some douchebag copyright apologist (Torgo) on a thread on this topic.

But Tommy was being a baby, played the copyrights card and the little guy gets hurt.

That's exactly what he is - a baby. He thought that by throwing tantum he could get some free publicity. Of course, it's backfired on him because now all he's done is get people pissed off at him.

I wonder how much money he makes out of the special screenings. Perhaps it's not such a bad idea to generate publicity, good or bad, for his movie here.

I mentioned this recently in an Adult Swim thread, as that was the first place I saw the film. Best worst movie ever made IMO. I've never been able to tell for sure whether or not Tommy Wiseau considers himself a serious filmmaker, but I think he kinda does. I think he was serious when he made the movie, but has embraced the cult status he's received for how bad it is. I think he might be some kind of crazy genius, and anything he does is to get more attention, which seems to work.

I've seen the movie 3 times, and saw his appearance on Adult Swim, so that's really all I have to go by. I know nothing about all this stuff about him being a baby about copyright issues or whatever, so my perceptions could be off. All I know is that I really enjoy the movie for the over the top piece of shit that it is. ;)
