Spoilers The Roddenberry Archive brings every iteration of Star Trek’s USS Enterprise bridge to life

Not sure how much is actually computer, because there's BTS shots in the articles, I think it's prosthetics?
I think OTOY has mentioned a combo of physical and digital prosthetics were used.

Yes, a bit of both. "Witwer and Selleck were filmed in costume, performing as Kirk and Spock on set, aided by both physical and digital prosthetics resulting in period-accurate portrayals matching the appearance of the characters as they originally appeared in TV and Film at the time."

Now I have to ask why the hell Sam Witwer isn't playing young Kirk in Strange New Worlds.
Because the amount of time, effort, and money required to 'deepfake' the face, emulate the voice, and attend to all the little quirks and oddities that come from that process simply isn't worth it for something that is never quite 100% anyway. (Not yet.)

Check out the Enterprise-J entry. There are some renders of the interior which includes parks, which I'm pretty sure is the same place we see in the video.

I sure hope this isn't correct.
Now I have to ask why the hell Sam Witwer isn't playing young Kirk in Strange New Worlds.
He was primarily a voice actor after Smallville, with occasional live action performances. So, he might not have considered it.

But, he definitely is my favorite.

I wonder if Yor was put into Discovery knowing this was happening down the line? Akin to Wesley Crusher referencing Prodigy season 2 in Picard season 2 many years before. Time agent Yor was a pretty random addition to Disco season 3, with Kovich/Daniels' little info dump of where and when he was from just seemed like the typical Discovery slightly awkward exposition at the time, but now I wonder if it was a plan all along and they needed to establish someone who could get Kirk where he needed to be, when he needed to be.

I always took it as a decently clever way to reference the Kelvin timeline. And they made it pay off here.

Yes, he’s absolutely their son.

There are also some very interesting shots on the blog page, including what appears to be Spock and Saavik’s wedding, Colt in a Kelvin uniform with Kirk and Spock at Spock’s death bed, Colt with Kirk and a younger Spock and Saavik on the Enterprise-A bridge, and Mr Arex!

I'm 99% certain those are glimpses of '765874' shorts yet to come. There's something going on with our former yeoman J.M. Colt (who, incidentally, would have been taking her first steps onto the set of the Enterprise bridge 60 years ago next week). This story ain't over.
