The restoring of the shuttlecraft Galileo video

How they brought the Shuttlecraft Galileo back to life. This was as interesting as watching the Enterprise being restored. I just shutter when I think of all the wonderful sets, props and other things that made ST such an iconic show being just thrown away like yesterday's garbage after the show was done.

Reminder to all - Galileo is in NYC this summer on the Intrepid - nestled under the Space Shuttle Enterprise. Until October or so - then back to NASA Houston.

According to the Intrepid's website it says the Galileo will be there till Dec 4th. I'll have to make a trip up to NY in the next month or so.

This was such an epic save of a key prop for all ST fans.
I will be out in Texas at the end of the year and hope to go see it
