The Pinball Table

Has anyone here ever played the Doctor Who Pinball Table? It was really fun, featuring a raising series of targets in the upper middle that led to a crazy Dalek Multi-Ball, a video mode and lots more. It featured all of the first seven Doctors, with Sylvester McCoy providing voice and each Doctor had an effect on the game, although only McCoy's voice was used. I used to own that table and I played it so often. Ah, nostalgia!

I suck at pinball so never played it. But yes, I've seen it lots of times over the years. Coolness.

Sadly, I never played it but I remember the one and only time I saw it in as a child. At the time, I was only intimately familiar with The Four and Seventh Doctors and knew there were Doctors in between them, but I remember turning to my mom and said "Who are the three old guys?! :wtf:"

Here's the promo video for the game:

Here are some pics I took when I found one in an old arcade:

Oh man it was just soooo fun. That crazy multi-ball, being exterminated by the Daleks, everything. I used to play that game a dozen times per day after we took it home once it stopped making money at my friend's comic book store.

The best audio from that table was McCoy saying "I don't mind running, or a Dalek or two; it's the obstacles that I hate!"

Getting that meant that you had beaten video mode.

Wow, that pinball game is a trip (although I can imagine that three-level Time Expander breaking down after time). Dare I say that the effects on the pinball game (or at least the video) were better than some of the SFX sequences in the classic series? ;)

That might be an interesting game to keep an eye out for.

I LOVE THIS GAME!!! Everytime I'd go to the game room at this campground I used to go to every summer, THIS would be the one game I would play over and over again.

I've been looking for a paper model version of this for a long time but found nothing. Anyone else had any luck?

I'm sorry, what's a paper model of a pinball table? I mean no disrespect, but I haven't heard of that before.

I didn't mean a pinball table paper model that actually plays, if that's what your asking. I ment just a regular paper model of the table itself. The website Matica.com has a bunch of these, ranging from the Twilight Zone game to Terminator 2.
