just now I learned this pile

was a miniature made of borg action figures cut up with a multi-tool and glued together.

Amazing.

Anyone has an idea of where this pile ended up? Maybe in a catalogue of one of the auctions with props and miniatures that happened? do other photos exist?

IDR where I got it (probably a Facebook post by the Okudas or Drexler), but here it is pre-photoshop

I don't know, the second picture looks like a photo-shopped version of the first one. For one thing, even the shadows are nearly identical which is odd.
