I came across this pic which I did about a year ago when I was a little bored. It's not much but I thought it was fun:

This is brilliant. I looked at it for a minute thinking "what?..." and then it hit me.

Folks, THIS is a well done Photoshop. The attention to detail, the matching of focal range, the proper use of angles... it's BRILLIANT.

Tony

Gee, thanks! I don't know if I'd go so far as to say brilliant, but hey, I'll take it!

And Dane_Whitman, don't forget about the Starbucks! My original version of this actually only had the Starbucks sign and then I put McDonald's in because there had to be something on the station for my wife too! ;)

Nice (and disturbing) blending. :)

Am I the only one who sees this:

and looks for a sign saying "Honest Quark's Used Starships"?
;)

A decent photoshop chop will usually incorporate elements with lighting that feels consistent. For instance, in the K7 image the station is primarily lit from the left while mosy of the ships are lit from the right. Had the ships or station been flipped, that would have made them feel more like one image.

Just made this:

Looks like I forgot to match the beard and hair colour....lol
