The Photoshop Thread, Part IV

I found this old Monet in my parents attic. Think it's worth anything? ;)

If you can't make it out, either squint your eyes or look at the smaller version in the lower left-hand corner. Pretty cool what yo can do with a little fruit, huh?

^^ Frodo, this is really amazing work. Congratulations! :) Excellent choice of screen captures. I think you've got all the right expressions and nearly perfect lighting. Uhura probably needs a little saturation and contrast management, but Kirk looks good to me.

As for sources, I'm betting Kirk and McCoy are from "Shore Leave". Scotty, Sulu, and Uhura definitely look like early 1st season ("Where No Man Has Gone Before, "The Man Trap"). Yeah for Chekov, we'll have to wait for Season 2 to come out in HD. I wonder if you might be able to use a filter to compensate. There is an image processor that can take multiple images and combine them together for enhanced clarity. Maybe you can do that by using screen captures from several frames in immediate succession?

Either that or move Sulu into the foreground and put Chekov in the rear. They're of the same rank and command color. :)

Hilarious! I saw something like this a while back, but can't recall the image processing tool that was used. Which one did you use for this?

Here's an interesting take on fruit manipulation: Animal Fruit.

That warp-field dynamic drawing, what is that based on?

And what kind of shape of a vessel would be required to use it?

To avoid this thread turning into TOS stuff only, it is time to hit ya with some delta stuff again. <sarcasm>Voyager is, after all, one of the most loved Trek series on this board.</sarcasm> :p
