Seeing that, I wish a coffee table book was commissioned of just scenes and characters from the novels.

I'd never thought of that before, but now you've got me wishing they would do one. Probably be a likeness rights minefield though.

You did an excellent job - even made Bashir look more his age unlike the book's actual cover. Thank you for your great pic.

Thank you for the kind words. I used current pictures of Sid and Faith Salie, and it was actually the book cover that made me want to make it in the first place...I didn't like the 'slap a beard on an old photo of Sid' approach at all. (Although I understand their hands are tied; they can't just use any pic they'd like, the way a fan art can.)

Not *entirely* Pine's face; there are elements there that are clearly Shatner. Well done!

Yeah it's a morph between Shatner and Pine, although I had to change his eye colour a few times as it would keep coming out grey

Squirlz Morph. It's easy to use and best of all, it's Free!!

I also used it on the 'Spock yearbook photo', combining Quinto with Nimoy's Spock from The cage

Initially thinking that you might have spent hours taking segments of faces and blending them together individually, it seemed a bit daunting to me. Glad to hear it is indeed a software package that helps you do it. Thanks for letting us know about Sqirlz Morph. I've seen some examples posted on YouTube (morph animations) and some of them are mind blowing!

That sort of thing has happened once or twice before with images posted by Shaw, but only for certain people. I don't recall whether we ever identified a cause.
