I forgot the NSync rumor until you reminded me. I honestly never understood the hate towards that. Who cares if they were background extras? It wasn't like they were going to break into song and be the focus of the scene in the middle of the movie.

N'Sync -supposedly- was going to be in Episode II as an alien musical group. Supposedly Lucas putit in because his (grand?)daughter really liked them. Supposedly negative fan backlash got the idea cut.

I seem to remember that they were going to cameo as background jedi in the Genosis battle.

I enjoyed Star Trek Insurrection but it was lacking in a strong story and solid characters. I hope the next film makes up for this.

I'm so into DS9's "Final Chapter". I wonder if they'll wait until TNG is finished with their movies or just make DS9 movies along with TNG ones. They'll probably wait...after all TNG is only three movies in. They have at least three more.

Hard to say. I think TNG has a solid two or three more films in it. Heck, I wouldn't be opposed to a Trilogy of some sort.

I do think it wouldn't hurt to bring in some new talent--no idea who, though.

Someone on another board suggested the "Felicity" creator, I guess because he wrote "Armageddon."

I heard that Leonardo DiCaprio is up for the role. I can see it. He can bring in a wide range of emotions that Anikan has to display in order to see his transformation from good to evil. I mean, you wouldn't want anyone wooden in that role.

DiCaprio? Aw hell no. That sissy from the Titanic? Seriously, I can't see myself ever respecting any movie that guy is in.

Man, Phantom Menace sucked. Hey, at least Star Trek won't pull anything stupid like making a prequel series, right?

I heard a rumor about something that will star Scott Bakula, but I'm pretty sure that's a Quantum Leap movie.

I can't wait until Episode II. I bet that'll be when the romance between Padme and Anakin will really start. This has the potential to be more dramatic than the Han/Leia romance! And it is so obvious that they made Padme to be the average age in between ObiWan and Anakin. I bet we'll have a sweeping love triangle that will ultimately lead into the third film that'll cause Anakin to fall to the dark side. I can't wait!
