How did you choose your username?
My first fanfic was written in mid 1980, after discovering local Trek fandom. It was set post-TMP, reflecting my introduction to Trek via the movie of December 1979. The main character of my fanfic was an Andorian.
There was a costume parade at the second Trek episode marathon I ever attended and I decided to try attempting an Andorian. When my story came out later the next year, people assumed I had been cosplaying Therin, the Andorian. The pic is from my makeup and wig test the weekend before the marathon.

Many years ago, a friend saw Marina Sirtis at a con and told me I should cosplay as Deanna. I haven't (yet) but it's still in the back of my mind. And I love that she became a Commander.
