The Opening Credits Font For XI

I believe that the font from the opening credits to ENT should be used for the opening of XI to establish continuity with with established canon and show that XI, as well as ENT, truly happened before TOS.

However I also believe the font for Nemesis would also make a good choice as I find it to be the most aesthetically pleasing. :thumbsup:

I was wondering the same thing. It was awesome information too. I was so looking forward to that link. I will be crushed if it turns out to not be true.

I would prefer if they used TOS series font too. Not ENT's or NEM's. Of course I really don't care what font they use for the title...

Didn't realize font used in the credits were to be considered 'canon'.

I would say it is more in keeping with tone or theme, but 'canon'...nah.

You could two-phase the fonts, starting with the TOS logo, then supering a more stylish one over its core.

I seriously HATE most of Dan Curry's logos. TUC was fine, but FC and TMPDE were the pits (did he do the DE or was it Dochterman?), and GEN's was not loveable. Then again, the Greenberg stuff for NEM was downright stupid as well. Hard to believe you could mess up stuff as simple as credits to the point of being distracting AND annoying, but I suppose when you've got so many other issues to think about ...

I'm more interested in what the music will sound like. Will they use the TOS intro music straight up, integrated into something new, Goldsmith theme? Wait, have they given a composer yet?
