I'll believe it when I see the trailer. Even on-set spy pics and footage isn't enough anymore in a post-Batgirl world
Riight. Sure it's moving forward. I don't really care if it ever gets made, to be honest. I've accepted the fact that the Abramsverse stories have ended.
No clicky for me but I would be happy for one more Kelvin universe story.
If not, it's ok.
Facts:
Paramount has continually worked on A Trek movie and mostly ST4 since 2016.
Lots of things, including a pandemic, change of leadership, a merger, and strikes have affected it.
There WILL be a movie made at some point.

Of course, nothing guarantees the next film, whenever it happens, will be another Kelvinverse movie.
Yes, although odds are it will because JJ came up with the story and two teams of writers worked on the existing script.
I’d like nothing more re: Trek. But I’m still waiting for Abrams’ Superman movie from about 20 years ago, so…
None of that means the next movie will be any (and there were a lot more than two) of the previously worked on projects.
I fully expect Abrams and Kurtzman will be attached somehow, even if Abrams is just in name, but there is no garuntee at all it will be the existing Kelvinverse film, especially with Kurtzman already moving his series' into the movie realm with Section 31 straight to streaming movie. I wouldn't be shocked if that ends up being changed to a theatrical release, with Michelle Yeoh leading it and the dearth of projects thanks to the strikes.
They like to say they're doing those things, but it's also the same company that announced a returning Kelvinverse cast without informing the Kelvinverse cast and it was all nonsense to try and appease financial backers with no real effort to make a movie.
And yet whenever anyone pointed out that it was pure fantasy just for an investors call when the cast didn't even know about it so many people replied "Nuh UH, It's Definitely HAPPENING!" Just like the dozen other times Trek 4 has been announced. And just like this time.
And where are you seeing "so many people" doing this -- here in this thread?
