The Night Crew

Okay, it looks like my friend is coming over for another Buffy/Angel marathon. It's good to have nights off work.

^

Actually, do you know what I did do? I went for a run. That's right. I got up the motivation and I went for a run!
All in all I'm feeling pretty good about it. I biked about 3 miles to the track, then ran one mile before I stopped to walk. I could have gone a little further, I think, but I didn't want to push it. I took one more mile walking and running in turn, and then biked back. When I got home I did 15 minutes of yoga to stretch out. Clearly I'm not in prime shape, but that's not so bad. I was feeling like a big, fat American, but now I feel a little better about myself.

I'm really going to feel it tomorrow, though.

nah, just soak in some hot water for half an hour, and you'll feel fine
I'd like to, but that'd require cleaning the bathtub, and then, because once I've started I can't stop myself, cleaning the whole bathroom. I live with boys, you see, so I only feel comfortable luxuriating in the bath after I personally have cleaned it. Then, as I am a very, very thorough on-my-hands-and-knees cleaner, I would definitely feel it tomorrow. Also, I have bubble bath but I'm out of salts and I'll need a new candle. I did take a nice, hot shower though.
The moral of this post? If you're going to do something, do it right!

^You know, the funny thing is that I'm really not. I'm pretty laid back about most things, I just have a very clear idea about the definition of clean in regards to a bathroom. And that definition differs a...bit...from the boys'.

And I do feel like a bath isn't worth the bathing if not done with fragrant salts, candlelight, and a continuing experiment to see how long I can stay strategically covered by bubbles like they are in the movies.

^So sad! [this sentence was originally in reply to Sephiroth's post, but it works just as well. ;) ]

Well, the calorie calculator thing says I burned about 130 calories running.
And I just gobbled that back up in the form of chocolate.

Yup.

It was dark chocolate though! Only 4 grams of sugar per serving and lots of fiber.
