Weird. Maybe it's a regional thing, but most people around here consider Stoli to be crap.

I dont think I have even heard of it. What is it?

I once had a brown vodka, a work exchange guy brought over from the Ukraine. It had licorice pieces in it. He said it was a private reserve of a friends, quite nice but had a bite once it hit the tummy.

No, but almost every one of my bar patrons turns there nose up at it when I list the vodkas we carry.

Then again, I find Grey Goose to be extremely overrated as well. Everybody raves about it, but it just tastes like vodka to me.

My big problem with gin is that it is often garnished with lime. And lime is easily one of my least favorite flavors ever.

Well, yeah, but some vodkas go down smoother than others. I honestly can't tell the difference between Grey Goose and a $9 bottle of McCormick.
