What's Public Enemies?

An incredibly stupid arc of Jeph Loeb's Superman/Batman (but then, really, pretty much all of S/B could be described that way).

I would prefer they went in a different direction than anything adapted from Superman/Batman. Considering the potential it has, this book never fails to disappoint. I wouldn't mind seeing something done with the Green Lantern Corp.

The first two arcs were worthy stories... I'd like to see the second arc, with Darkseid and the re-introduction of Supergirl. But mostly I just want to see that because I never get tired of watching Superman and Darkseid go at it. Plus, the possibility of hearing Michael Ironside voice Darkseid again.

They would most likely cast a new actor to voice Darkseid. None of the Timmverse voice actors have been used in the new DTV movies. In fact they recast actors from one movie to the next.

Worthy ideas for stories, perhaps (indeed, both have a lot of potential), but the execution was abysmal; just poorly written with no logic whatsoever, and what has since become Loeb's big trademark: jobbing characters to his heroes (not to mention, in "Supergirl", the abysmal 'art' of Michael Turner).

Yeah, that's why I said "possibility". I understand that they're most likely to recast the character, but damn if Ironside wasn't awesome in that role.
