The next companion

yeah I dont think Michelle Ryan would be the worst idea in the world, for the next companion either.

Maria as companion, I dont know its possible but it seems unlikely

a male companion, im not totally against it, but I dont think it will happen.

Think ive said before I would like to see the Doctor have more than one companion in S5, one male one female. Female alien by Jemima Rooper & Jethro from Midnight (yeah I know he is now Merlin, but I thought he was good in Midnight)

I think another past or future companion would be great.

I am tired of contemporary Londoner companions, sorry to say (no matter how good Tate was as Donna).

The 'we can't relate to them' argument doesn't fly with me. I related more to Data than any of the humans on TNG! Lol

I just wonder if we'll get a new companion in the specials that will stay for the regen and beyond... ? Or will ALL the specials be companion free? Surely not.

who knows what is going on with the specials, they are to much of a curve ball to think about anything afterwards, as for the companion, well it will probaly have Astrid like companions in them, but that is just my guess.

I too wouldn't have a huge problem with Michelle Ryan, salivated over her a lot on Jekyll ~(more red in the hair and curvier than she was in Bionic woman) but to be honest once Gina Belman became the focus of the story my lust went that way. Ryan's a girl, Belman's a woman!!

I would love to see Emilia Fox in Who in a reccuring role, and I wouldn't even care if she was from contemporary England! Looks and acting talent in combo!

Talking of which I think Jenny would be a great companion in a Leela kinda way.

'Jenny stop killing people, ok?' and I don't see any reason they couldn't bring back Cristina Cole in a different role.
