I'm making judgements based on what I've seen. But you're right that it will probably look better on screen, at least I seriously hope so!

Yeah, on screen they probably light it in a specific way, use different lights then what would be used in the exhibit.

I'm all for making changes and re-imagining the Klingon look, but change it to something that looks good. It's just plain aesthetically horrid.
Duct tape and drywall screws are the top items for any bodge job.

They're not that bad. They look more intimidating than TOS and TNG versions, which is a good thing, since they're supposed to be the Federation's main enemy. The pointy costumes could go away but the head prosthetic is a nice update. Better than the pierced JJ versions.
I'm more worried about the use of the Enterprise symbol on the uniforms (not really). At this point, I'm fine with modifying the look of the Klingons. I read that they intend each House to have distinct cultural styling, including their dress. We can't be too hung up on these details otherwise you have to complain why NX-01 looked more advanced than the NCC-1701, etc; discussions we've already had a long time ago.
For me, i just really want to see this and judge from there. They seem to be approaching the show from a position of admiration and care, but they need to be allowed to put their own stamp on things.

You better stop your condescending attitude and your cheap shots at other posters now. You're constantly acting like everybody who doesn't agree with you on something, clearly has no clue about TV production.
You need to quickly learn to voice your opinion in a more respectful way because we will not accept this tone and getting personal.
This forum will see passionate discussion, especially once the show is out, and people will be butting heads, and that is all okay but we are not going to let people poison the debate with this kind of behavior.
