I think that Madman's model is good enough to get a general feel for the lines and shapes it has, the way of the various parts connect despite not being entirely accurate.

I agree... The new (old) Enterprise is not all that bad. It has potential...

However, I don't agree with your statement about the A... It holds quite a bit on the A (too much, in my opinion). Most of the saucer hull and the front half of the neck look WAY too much like the A...

It's a bit like doing a movie about the life of Henry Ford, then deciding the front half of the Model T needs to look like a '65 Mustang...

The engine nacelles on the Abramsprise are certainly improvements on the TMP ship's nacelles.

Other than that, it's generally a good update for the TOS ship. It sure looks great in the trailer.
