The popular dinosaur once known as Brontosaurus has been officially called Apatosaurus for decades, because it was determined that the fossils first dubbed Brontosaurus were members of the previously named Apatosaurus genus. Apparently, there has now been published a study arguing that the fossils first identified as Bronto are different enough from the previously identified Apato fossils that they deserve to be classified separately.
