The Mutual Admiration Society (fer real)

I'll probably add some people later but:

T'Bonz - You do a great job running this place and having a life at the same time. I'm not sure I could do that.

Drone36929 -
I've just started posting more regularly in this forum (Mostly stayed in the Trek and Sports forums) and I'm enjoying reading your posts and trying to include everyone. It means a lot. Also, being from the Bay Area is a plus as well. ;)

Neroon, Mal, Lindley, Mr. Light, and Anyone else who has Joined me in my Babylon 5 thread - It's been fun talking about the series with you guys. I can't wait to see what happens next and yes I will probably use the Lurker's guide a lot now.

Mimic - I really enjoy talking Baseball with ya. Yes you're a Phillies fan, but I'm not holding it against you. ;)

PKTrekGirl - Miss you in the DS9 forum. Now that the movie has come and is quietly going, maybe I can see you post in your mod-forum a bit more.

Shameless, CoolEddie, ElimParra, Mallory - You make the lounge a much better place.

More to come later, probably one or two more go rounds of mutual admiration. ;)

Thanks. You used to hang out here in MISC more often, although I've seen your posts elsewhere on the BBS. There have been a lot of changes in the past few years, huh. There are BBSers I remember and don't get to see much anymore, like OmahaStar, TheStonedKoala, etc. At the same time, it's refreshing to see new folks and exchange ideas with them.

If there's any sort of award for people who make everyone else happier, can we give it to Kestra and AstroSmurf please?

Agreed. You may also be pleased to hear that Ms. Kestra has been officially appointed (by me) as the Executive Vice-Chairman (or Chairwoman, Chairperson, or just Chair) of the MAS effective this morning, 10 a.m. PDT. For his magnetic appeal and charisma, AstroSmurf could be the Public Relations Officer. :D I'll have to think of other posts for the rest of them ...

:alienblush: Oh my... I am touched. I mean I completely understand Kestra (who is absolutely amazing and someone I have grown to love dearly) but little old me... the one that is know by his friends as the "The Mouth From the South"?

And trampledamage... I adore you. You have always made me and so many others feel welcome here. I can not thank you enough for all the kind posts you have made over the years.

I would also like to send a shout out to J.Allen who continually challenges me. I have said this before but it stands to be said again, you are like the BBS's Guardian Angel and I love you for it.

And few others that I have to mention are CrusherDisciple, who keeps me laughing (here and on FB), Temis, who keeps me on my toes when it comes to my Entertainment, and auntiehill, who is just awesome. All three manage to make posts that I know I want to read. :bolian:

(And Venardhi I have always spelled your name correctly. With a smile that charming how could I not!)

^ I think TheBolianChef fits better. I love the Muppets and the Swedish Chef was always a personal favorite. Your username ROCKS! Bjork! Bjork! :bolian:

But an actual stoned Koala would be hysterically funny. I wonder if it would climb trees like a slow drunk monkey? (Drunk monkeys are funny too. :rommie:)

Here's another goround of admiration on my end. ;)

Trekker4747 - You shouldn't worry about complaining or something. Your posts are always enjoyable, and there was a time when I was anxiously waiting for the "trekker rant/post of the day." So many interesting topics from those threads.

Pegs - Great to know a fellow football/baseball fan.

Scout - If it weren't for you, I probably would not have loved Fantasy Football/Baseball so much

KirasMom - You do great work on stitching

Orec Zen - Your posts are always fun to read

Shameless - A big ego is always a good thing. That, and you brighten a lot of peoples' day.

Crusher Disciple - I kind of miss the bunny avatar

First of all, thanks to An Officer, Zion Ravescene, Aurian, trampledamage, and AstroSmurf for the kind words. You have no idea how much you all made me blush! I didn't post what I did to get compliments, but sometimes it's nice feeling appreciated anyway. So thank you. :)
Arrghman – witty, enlightening, and someone I’d like to know more about

I'm not supposed to be mentioned in these sorts of threads, I think you ruined my track record :p

I know! And you don't go unnoticed. I really do enjoy your posts, and thought you should be acknowledged. I just wish I would have been able to list more people, but it's difficult.

I suppose Kestra's alright.

sometimes

I suppose you're kinda alright yourself. :p

Hey, girl! How've you been? Haven't seen you much in ages. Welcome back. :)

No kidding! Quite busy. I live at work during the school year, but the opposite extreme (and the rather pleasant one at that!) is that I'm quite relaxed and free during the summer.

How are you?

Well, it's good you get to take some time off (speaking of which, I wish I had more vacation time saved up), but I usually take a week off during the holidays to spend with friends and family

As for me, still "low-key" and unpopular all these years. :o :D Hey, I'm just trying to have a good time with other BBSers here in MISC; I've seen people come and go and was wondering what happened to you and a few other posters I used to see around four or five years ago. Hope life's treating you well ... ;)

Hm... I like a lot of posters especially the ones who I've met in person (Wally, Maxwell and exodus) but let me name a few who probably won't be mentioned too often...

Colonel Green- Smart, funny and an all around cool guy. Also, bizarrely, the only person on this board that I've hit on. Poor guy. :(

IndyJones- Another solid poster who is smart and very articulate in his posts.

Chardman- This guy makes me laugh so much when he lays the smackdown on someone be it a member or just someone or something else.

Trampledamage- I've only just gotten to know her but she's a nice poster who I've enjoyed talking to.

James Bond- His name is James Bond. How could he not be awesome?

Cakes- Like trampledamage I've just been getting to know her, too, but she's pretty cool.

Locutus of Bored- Best mod and a great TNZ poster. He's awesome.

...and of course no list would be complete without a mention of TEH BABA.
