The movie "Hancock"...

...is it worth a crap? I'm going to see it tonight, and it looks hilarious, so I'm looking foward to it. Still, has anyone seen it already? Is it any good? Should I save my time and money and just stay home and Wii Fit with some friends (or, more likely, watch some Star Trek TOS XD), or carry on with my original plan, and actually go?

Squire - Yeah, same here. What I now know about it makes it seem worthwhile enough to watch, regardless of some of what seem to be it's bad points, so I'll let ya' know what I think after I've seen it.

Squire - Well, I think it was worth my time to watch. I'm really not sure why people didn't like it, because, though it's not making any favourite lists of mine (they are plenty of amazing movies that don't as well, mind you), I was actually persuaded to see it twice, so...there's my two cents. I believe Hancock (while it's not wicked!epic!tehsmex!1one) is actually pretty good.

It's not teh funny all the time, more like one-liners, and there are some pretty dramatic parts, but all in all I liked it. And one scene in particular had me laughing the next day. You'll probably figure out which one.

Saw it yesterday. Liked it a lot. I didn't know that Vince Gilligan was one of the writers. After watching it though, I did get a X-File-ish vibe from the story.

Definitely worth a look.

I saw it yesterday, and it was ok. I didn't enjoy it as much as The Incredible Hulk or Get Smart, but it was a decent movie.

I was a little confused by the hospital scenes though. To me, it seemed they were a little inconsistent with his powers during that sequence of events.
