The Most Teary-Eyed Moment's In All Of Star Trek!

Voyager: Real Life. I have a daughter the same age as Belle so this one resonates with me. At the end of the episode when Belle asks the doctor "Am I going to die" and he reply's "Yes," I can't help tearing up...

More:

Silicon Avatar: The scientist losing her son is very dramatic, the actress is superb. Its unfortunate that they ruined it somewhat by making her "crazy" at the end.
New Ground: Most of this episode was pretty emotional D:
Hero Worship: Boy loses his parents, nuff said.
Ethics: Worf dies and although I know he's gonna come back, it was still sad.
Lessons: I really thought Neela was dead, I did get teary eyed here.
Dark Page: The scene where we find out about Deanna's sister D':
LOWER DECKS: Freaking hell!
Pre-Emptive Strike

Very few DS9, VOY or ENT episodes affected me emotionally like TNG did.

In the movies: Spock's Death in TWOK (I still cry to this day).

On TV: reading the Gene Roddenberry's epitaph on the beginning of TNGs "Reunification".

Like others have said, The Kelvin sequence in ST2009, The Visitor, and the death of Spock in TWOK.

The death of George Kirk is just too much.:wah:

So is Amanda's death in that same film. :( In two different ways: 1) Of course we all know that Sarek must be feeling terrible pain right then, as anyone would when their spouse dies; and 2) Because we also know that in the prime timeline, Sarek and Amanda had many more years together, and the Sarek of this timeline has been deprived of that...

Also: In ENT, when Admiral Forrest dies. I say this because Forrest always reminded me of my father, and I know how inconsolable I would be if my dad died.

Never cried, but the unhappy moments I recall are:

Killing Kirk: I walked out of the theater feeling like the comic geeks when Superman was killed a year prior.

Wasting the 1701-D: And in such a stupid fasion, too.

This side of paradise when Spock said he felt happy for the first time, as well as the chick's reactions near the end.

When Data pretty much pulled the plug on Lal.

When communication seemed to suceed with the Crystaline Enetity, only to have Mrs. Crackpot wreck it all.

Picard when he found out about the fire in Generations.

Apollo at the very end of "Who Mourns for Addonace", though he was a jerk.

Dr. Soong when his augment 'children' died.

New Spock when he lost his planet, his mom, and 99% of his people.

Decker's breakdown in "The Doomsday Machine".

I can often get weepy over Trek...

Scotty's visit to his Enterprise bridge on the holodeck in The Relic/TNG.

Kirk's death at the beginning of Generations aboard the Enterprise B.

Another vote for the Kelvin sequence.

The destruction of the Enterprise in The Search for Spock.

Lal's death in The Offspring/TNG.

Spocks death and memorial service in TWOK.

When Kirk says, "Young, i feel young" with that look on his face.

Both of Kirk's deaths (although the first one isn't really a death) in Generations.

Sign off in ST6

The Inner Light

End of Darmok

The death of the EMH's "family" in Voy

George Kirk's death/James T's birth in STXI

And i'm sure there are others, this is what comes to mind off the top of my head.

Spock's death and funeral scene had me crying like a baby the first time I saw it, and still gets me teary eyed now--"I have been and always shall be your friend" gets me every damn time.

Other scenes that have caused me to have a little something in my eye:

The final sign-off of TUC

Kirk's "let's get the hell out of here" at the end of City on the Edge of Forever

The end of Who Mourns for Adonais (yes Apollo was a jerk and the episode overall isn't the strongest, but the feeling of regret at the end is so poignant.)

Darmok

And, even though I know some people have problems with the episode but I freely admit I'm a softy, the ending of I, Borg when Hugh sacrifices his individuality to save the Enterprise and gives that quick farewell look to Geordi.

There are parts in some of the episodes and movies that made me sad and some made me cry here they are:

Star Trek Movies:

Star Trek The Wrath of Khan: Spock's death scene "I have and always shall be your friend. Live long and prosper" "Of all souls I encounterd. His was the..most..human". Those scenes made me realy sad and cry.

Star Trek Genarations: Kirk's death scene "Did we make a differance?" "Oh yes" "It was..fun.Oh my.." That scene seeing my favorite captain die made me really sad.

Star Trek Nemeis: Data's death scene "Goodbye" thats when the ship and Data was destroyed, the part where Data died made me sad.

Star Trek XI: George Kirk(James T Kirk's father) dies as he says goodbye to his wife and his newborn son, as the Kelvin clides with the Narda.
And the death of Amanda(Spock's mother) as the ground fall benths her, and Spock is reaching out for her. And also the destruction of Vulcan is sad too. I feel for anybody who looses thier home even thier planet. How would you feel if it was you that was happeing to?

TOS:

The City of the Edge of Forever: The death of Kirk's love Edith Keeler was realy sad.

Operation Annihilate: The death of Kirk's brother and sister an law

All Our Yesterdays: I thought the part where Spock had to leave Zarabeth behind was sad, because she couldnt go with him, if she did, she would die. It kind simalar the problem Kirk had with Edith, except Edith did die.

Edith Keeler's death, and Kirk's reaction to it, gets me every time. That's the only one.

Some of my saddest moments from Trek (although many have been said before):

TOS
When Spock says it was the only time he was ever happy in This Side of Paradise
When Kirk loses Miramanee at the Obelisk

TOS Movies
Spock's death and funeral was the first time I ever cried at a movie (I still love that version of Amazing Grace!)

TNG
The Inner Light, possibly the best TNG episode, the flute playing at the end is so sad
The Relic, my 2nd favorite, Scotty on the holodeck Enterprise, no bloody A, B, C or D!

Star Trek (2009)
The Kelvin sequence, it was so sad watching George Kirk, sacrificing himself and knowing he will never see his family
I know some will disagree, but that scene is destined to be a classic Trek moment in the same category as Spock's death scene.

The Wrath of Khan- Spock's death
TNG- Measure of a man
DS9- Jadzia's death, The visitor, Damar's death. The scenes between Garak and Enabran Tain before Tain died.

Nemesis-Data's death.

Another vote for The City on the Edge of Forever "Do you know what you just did?" "He knows Doctor... He knows."
