I actually never really warmed up to Majel Berrett as an actress. Lwaxana was sometimes fun, but more on a meta-way. I don't even really remember what she brought to No. 1 & Chapel - they're essentially blank slates for me (which helps regarding SNW).

She's a kickass computer voice though!

Spock's Brain is a bit of a guilty pleasure, so be enjoyed in the same way I enjoy Genesis, If Wishes Were Horses, and Threhold - with my brain firmly switched off. Though I hear alcohol helps.

"Albatross" is the great TAS that no one ever talks about. The aliens in this are so delightfully strange, with their weirdly expressive eyes and incongruous voices.

Strange to realize I apparently have more fondness for TAS than TOS.

Man, I'm glad someone saved the ep. I, too, like Lwaxana but I couldn't bring myself to save this one. While I could have tolerated the Alexander stuff, that scene with him and Lwaxana naked in the mud bath while the holographic, naked (?) alien lady is undulating by the pool side was a bit too much for me.

I'm choosing TOS, Season 3: "The Lights Of Zetar"(Chapel)
It's a pretty tough choice. At one point, I considered "Zetar" to be the worst TOS episode ever; obviously I've changed my mind.
It brings us Memory Alpha, and I like Lt. Romaine a lot.
And it brings us WTF am I doing guy (sorry, I have no GIF handy, but hopefully you know who I mean).
Also, the croaking scenes are quite creepy, so it gets "props" for that.
