Game The Most Disliked Episode Written By Ronald D. Moore

Looks like I'm handing TNG another "win".

I'm saving DS9 Season 5: "Doctor Bashir, I Presume" for the Zimmerman cameo appearance but mostly for Rom and Leeta.

TNG Season 6: "Aquiel" (teleplay with Brannon Braga)
TNG Season 6: "Rightful Heir" (teleplay)
TNG Season 7: "Gambit, Part II" (teleplay)
TNG Season 7: "Journey's End" (teleplay)

Rightful Heir is a bit forgettable as far as Klingon episodes go, but Worf going on a spiritual retreat is a cool setup. Kahless's appearance is a bit like Christ reappearing, and it poses some interesting questions.

TNG Season 6: "Aquiel" (teleplay with Brannon Braga)
TNG Season 7: "Gambit, Part II" (teleplay)
TNG Season 7: "Journey's End" (teleplay)

Ironic, as I think even Moore himself said he wanted to just pretend "Aquiel" was never made.

(Perhaps it was Braga... I'm 99 percent sure it was one of the TNG writers.)

If this is still going, I'll pick DS9's 'Doctor Bashir, I Presume" 'cause it's humourous and has Robert Picardo.

It ended. Journey's end lost.

You're missing, like, a whole page of posts, it seems.

Journey's End is a worthy winner. It turned Wesley into a petulant teen, and the story regarding the Native Americans (the prelude to the Maquis) just didn't have enough gravitas.

Having the Traveler come back for Wesley was the one bright spot.

I never had any trouble with Wesley becoming a 'petulant teen' after always having followed the path marked out for him by his environment. Thought it was quite believable that in this phase of life, he was starting to think about what he really wanted, rather than conform to expectations, and a good deal more realistic than the perfect Starfleet poster boy of the early years. (Also, I remember my own mood swings from my teen years.)

Personally I find "Aquiel" waaaay worse, but "Journey's End" is no great shakes either. And "Aquiel" did already win "Most Disliked ROTW."

"Journey's End" was also the 2020 winner of this game! :bolian:
