The MOST Disliked Episode of VOYAGER - Season Four...

[Farscape One]

This is a twist on a game that is played here, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I am very curious to see the results.

Here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your most favorite or the one you deem the 'best.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, wait six hours and leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode because you feel they would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win. Pretty simple. Enjoy!

I will begin season 4 by saving "NEMESIS". This was a great Chakotay episode. I love the use of different words for common ones... it reminded me a bit of TNG's "Darmok".

And the episode's message was summed up by Chakotay at the end... "I wish it were as easy to stop hating as it was to start." A great message, and one of the best Chakotay episodes of the series.

I was torn between "NEMESIS" and "LIVING WITNESS" as my first save. I'm happy to see it was the first choice after mine.

I am torn between "The Gift", "Omega Directive", "One", and "Hope & Fear" for my first save. The addition of Seven really did unbalance the show (even moreso than it already was), but the Seven episodes themselves are almost always home runs.

I think I'll go with "The Gift." To continue with my theme of always saving the Kes episodes, and in recognition of what a nice job Jennifer Lien does, under awful conditions! What a shitty situation, to have to go work and turn in a good performance still, after you've been so publicly and unceremoniously fired.

I think it was cool seeing Kes develop such power. Such wasted potential.

Saving the life of "The Killing Game," because damn, that episode had style. Klingon Janeway alone is worth checking it out for, but then we also get Kathryn-Katrine, Seven the chanteuse, others of the core crew as classic WWII-movie-style Maquis, and Chakotay and Paris as earnest, clean-cut, WWII-movie-style American G.I.'s. (Chakotay the Maquis not being a Maquis made me snicker.)

I think "One" is fantastic. It's a great little episode, so tense and involving. Jeri Ryan does her usual fabulous work and it's perfectly positioned in Seven's arc.

I will select "Demon." I love this episode. I like the idea of the "silver blood" (deuterium, hydrogen sulfate, dichromates, and proteins) "bioforming" duplicates that can survive on the planet. There are many details in this episode that are creative and thought provoking. I especially like the later episode that intersects with the demon planet story line. Great episode!

The Raven. Because Seven is my favorite character... and this was a good ep for her, plus I always liked when Seven & Tuvok got to interact in any way. The scenes between Janeway and 7 were a good start to their bond as well.
