Saving "Vis a Vis" for Robbie McNeill. The script wasn't very good, and mostly failed to exploit the interesting possibilities that existed with the premise of a body-snatching alien. But what Robbie could do to salvage the show, he did, and I think he at least succeeded in salvaging his character.

I'll save The Killing Game, Part II. Switch your brain off and pretend that there was never any severe damage to the ship. Then it becomes fairly enjoyable.

All the ones I was going to save have been done already. So now to my secondary choices.

"REVULSION" was fun. I liked the psycho hologram.

I don't have much positive to say about any of these. I'll save "Demon", on the basis that it gives us "Course: Oblivion", which I do love.

Time to save "Random Thoughts." I found the concept of a world with literal Thought Police more than a bit disturbing, much less our crew's relative comfort with the concept. And it took three days for anyone in the crew to have an angry thought while planetside? What a bunch of pollyannas! But I have to say, Tuvok's response to his captors' demand for violent thoughts was pure badass. Be careful what you wish for, indeed.

I'm glad someond else saved "RANDOM THOUGHTS" because that would have been my final save of the season.

The final save for season 4 is "RETROSPECT". A good concept, and well acted all around. And frankly, more memorable than the dull "UNFORGETTABLE"... ironic title, considering.

The 'winner' of season 4 is "UNFORGETTABLE". Thank you all for playing. I'll start season 5 tomorrow.

Unforgettable is a good choice, and I wasn't keen on Demon either. I don't think there were as many stinkers as the past couple of seasons we just did though.

Interesting, exact same winner and runner-up as the last time we did season 4.

I need to rewatch "Retrospect." It always felt like such a muddle, a confused episode that invokes so many big topics, to then say nothing at all about them. And that was how I felt back in the 90's! I'm curious how it plays in our current cultural context...
