The MOST Disliked Episode of VOYAGER - Final Part...

This is tough. I'll go for Repression too. It's close between 3-4 of these and then the rest are comparatively weaker imho.

And "Repression" is saved. As silly as the premise was, I did like seeing the Maquis in action again. And guest star Keith Szarabakja is an old fave of mine from his days on The Equalizer.

So little to vote for here. I guess Ex Post Facto is the only one left I don’t actively not want to vote for.

I'll also vote for Ex Post Facto. It may not be a classic, but I don't think it deserves to be at the very bottom.

"Ex Post Facto" here as well. I think this ep is perfectly fine, actually. What's disappointing about it is that it's ultimately just Planet Of The Week, but so was so much of Voyager. Collectively it's a HUGE problem, but individually this installment is better than most of it's confederates.

And at least that weird feather detailing on the aliens of the week sticks in the memory! The Voyagers aliens just became so grindingly indistinguishable as the series wore on, so anything that stands out...

Wow. So many episodes already fully saved in such a short time.

I will repeat my vote for "IN THE FLESH" for the same reasons as before.

EX POST FACTO is saved because there's at least some kind of an enigma to solve, however, the solving seems a bit flimsy ( a dog really???!!!).

I'll vote for IN THE FLESH as the least repelling of the ones left. Plus the idea of a Pon Far night at a Night Club made me chuckle...

As much as I despise In The Flesh for its ridiculous premise of Species 8472 needing a Russian style America City when it can destroy a planet from orbit with ease, all the other remaining episodes have an equal amount of negatives, and no positives to match.

I'm giving a point to Elogium for the scene of Kes eating bugs.

I'll make it another quick one and off "In The Flesh."

I at first thought I did not agree that it was the best one remaining, and briefly thought of fighting the tide and giving a point to "Elogium" or "Sacred Ground" instead. But focusing on those episodes reminded me of how bad they really are, so "In The Flesh" was suddenly looking better by comparison... if you can ignore how badly it fucks up Species 8472 and view it in isolation, it works all right.

Anyway, reset!

I'll throw a point to "Sacred Ground" for taking on the question of faith and belief and being bold enough to leave the answer at least a bit ambiguous.

Sacred Ground. This was easily Trek's opposite episode of Who Watches The Watchers.

"SACRED GROUND" is now saved. McNeill's first run as a director was well done, and Mulgrew's performance was really good.

I'm giving a point to Elogium again. What's supposed to be bad about this episode?

Well, here's one woman's opinion:

Nothing about the Ocampan reproductive cycle makes a nickel's worth of sense. They can only get pregnant once, and Kes expects to have only one child. That's not even replacement numbers. You rub someone's feet to get their tongues to swell, or not swell, I forget and don't care. They give birth from a sac on their backs, which pretty much guarantees at least some of the babies will be done in by simple gravity. :::splat!:::

Add to that the fact that this turns out to not be Kes's "real" elogium, which means that none of the agonizing Neelix went through in this episode makes a particle bit of difference. The alleged stakes turned out to be meaningless.

As for me, I'll vote for "Natural Law." It's inoffensive and not especially stupid. At this point in the game, that will have to do.

Like Alice I try to believe six impossible things before breakfast.

I liked Janeway in Fair Haven. Has one of my favourite lines - 'Delete the wife'.
