I always liked The Chase, so that's my next save. Though it didn't totally make sense, it felt grand that all of the humanoid species in Star Trek were connected. Picard's excitement over the gift from Galen was fun too.

Removing Quality of Life. It was kind of simplistic in approaching, in a world where sentient AI exists, the problems of making the discovery and distinction in practice, but at least it was interesting and had an interesting conclusion.

I will save "Aquiel" and make "Birthright Part II" the loser/winner, because I never tire of beating up on Birthright. Especially Part II. I hate it sooooooooooo much. I spent the whole hour wishing we were getting back to the Data story. There's so many episodes that trash Worf's character for no dramatically satisfying purpose ("Let He Who Is Without Sin", "Sons & Daughters"), but this is the worst.

And "Aquiel" -- how can anyone hate a murder mystery where it turned out the dog did it?

Birthright II is a worthy winner. The show is garbage from beginning to end.

Honestly, I am surprised "Aquiel" didn't take the prize, though runner up is close.

Same. It's the one I always think of as comparison to DS9's love interests who don't just disappear.

 

[Spectre Of The Fun]

I'll save "Starship Mine". It's "Die Hard With Picard" and a great bottle episode. Some things about it don't make sense: why would Starfleet subcontract an apparently vital aspect of starship maintenance to a less-than trustworthy species and how come no one seems to know what trilithium is after that (and now it can stop fusion in a star)? But still, the cast is good and it was super fun.
